Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ Video Hits 1 Billion YouTube Views

Whitney Houston’s 1992 hit “I Will Always Love You” has hit the 1 billion views milestone on YouTube.

The accomplishment marks the first solo artist entry from the 1990s to join YouTube’s “billion views club.” Others to cross the mark are from groups, including Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain,” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and The Cranberries’ “Zombie.”

Originally written by Dolly Parton in 1973, “I Will Always Love You” skyrocketed in popularity when Houston recorded her version for the film The Bodyguard. Re-watch the clip another billion times below.
